NOTE: The number of consultations you may need depends on your particular set of circumstances and can be discussed prior to you booking. GP referral is preferred (but not mandatory), but I will ask you to sign a consent form to allow me to liaise with them. I reserve the right not to take on clients who refuse this consent.
what’s involved in the consultations ?
Before your first consultation you will be asked to complete a comprehensive health questionnaire and diet diary. I ask that these be returned 3 days before your consultation to allow me to review these prior to meeting you.
Using the questionnaire and diet diary as a foundation we will have an in-depth discussion about your current health and health goals. I will outline my nutritional assessment and give you initial guidance on dietary change supported by materials and personal notes on the session. I will also discuss with you what we might cover in any future sessions and how many might be required to address your goals.
These allow us to go into greater depth, building on the foundation of nutritional changes outlined in the first session. Sessions would generally include further advice and materials, adjustments to the food and supplement changes in line with your improvements and changing needs. The sessions are also important for help in getting the changes in place and identifying strategies to keep you motivated.
Making dietary and lifestyle changes can be challenging and sometimes we need a little help to keep going. This service is to help you if you feel your motivation lacking at any point or if you have any questions on the programme.
After an initial consultation has been completed face-to-face I offer the convenient option of follow-up sessions by Skype.
I can visit you in your home for a 1-1 session and at the same time audit your fridge and shopping list and give cooking demonstrations for new food ideas. Prices by arrangement (minimum 3hrs).
After an initial assessment I can prepare a fully personalised one or two-week eating plan to help you adopt any dietary changes discussed, complete with shopping list. This is particularly helpful for people who like things mapped out step-by-step and is a very popular with senior executives who are time poor.
A 30 minute session that includes a 45 page personalised dietary analysis report highlighting any imbalances in your diet and how to correct them. (Requires completion of 4-day food diary to be returned one week in advance of the session.)
Available for any of the services on request.
