FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Got questions? You’re not alone.
The Food Fixer was built for real-world food problems — not perfect kitchens. Here are the most common questions we get before launch.
What exactly is The Food Fixer?
The Food Fixer is a food correction system designed to fix common kitchen and delivery problems such as food that is too spicy, over-salted, bland, unbalanced, or ruined by texture — without changing what the food is supposed to be. You don’t have to start over. You don’t have to throw it away. You just fix it.
Isn't this just another seasoning?
No. Seasoning adds flavor. The Food Fixer corrects mistakes. If food is already over-salted, too spicy, or knocked off balance, adding more seasoning usually makes things worse. Each Fixer is designed to solve a specific problem — not cover it up.
What kinds of food does The Food Fixer work best on?
The Food Fixer works on anything that went wrong in your kitchen, your delivery or takeout, or your store-bought meal that's been sitting in the freezer for a few days.
It’s designed to correct food that is: too spicy or has runaway heat; over-salted or aggressively seasoned; flat, dull, or out of balance; soggy, greasy, watery, or broken; creamy dishes that lost body or texture; crunchy foods that went limp.
That includes home cooking, takeout and delivery, leftovers, packaged and convenience foods, MREs, grilling, and backyard BBQ.
If the food is already made and something is off, The Food Fixer is built for that moment.
What is the difference between Rescue, Revive, and Restore?
Each product corrects a different type of problem: Rescue calms runaway heat and overly aggressive seasoning, Revive recovers balance when food is flat, dull, or over-salted, and Restore fixes texture issues like sogginess, greasiness, or broken consistency. Together, the work as The Food Fixer's Culinary CPR Kit — but each one also stands on its own.
Can I use more than one product in the same dish?
Yes. This is where the The Food Fixer system shines. As an example, some foods stack problems overnight: spices get hotter, sauces soak in, texture turns soggy. Think Thai food, curries, pasta, etc., food that tastes amazing fresh, but comes back hotter, heavier, and off. The system lets you pull back heat, restore balance, and rebuild texture all at once...making your leftovers taste exactly like it did the night before or at the restaurant.
How much do I use?
Start small. Begin with about ¼ teaspoon per serving, taste, and adjust. You’re correcting - not coating. For specific use cases and demos, follow us on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook - we’re constantly sharing how to get the most out of each product. More detailed usage info can also be found in the Shop section.
How does the $1.12 donation work?
The $1.12 isn't a vague "portion of proceeds" - it's a fixed cost embedded in every CPR bundle sold. Funds go directly to our non-profit partners that provide veterans and first responders in need of vetted mental health programs and therapies for PTSD and TBI recovery and suicide prevention programs not typically covered by insurance or the VA. The Food Fixer would not exist without these resources, and this is our way to pay it forward.
Why $1.12?
$1.12 is in memory of CDR T.J. "Sherminator" Flora, USN (ret.), my pilot on aircraft 112 when served together as Pilot and RIO. It's a reminder of why this mission exists and who we're fighting for with every donation.
